I believe this is a little under-specced for PS5. This one is a PCIe 3.0, for PS5 people recommend only PCIe 4.0 (like the Samsung 980 Pro, which has read speeds up to 7000 MB/s, vs the 3500 MB/s max read of this "non Pro").

Best buy has been this price for a while. This is not the 980 Pro Gen4 drive.

This is not "little under-specced". This will flat-out not work at all in a PS5.

PS5 requires a Gen 4.0 drive. Period.
