Check your screens when you get them. So far 2 of 2 had at least 1 small dust piece under the screen. It's small and only noticeable when it's off but once I saw it I couldn't unsee it.

I returned them to the store. You have 30 days.

I'm debating if I try again.

Not sure why people are downvoting you, you are correct. The regular price is not 599, that's for the iPad Air.

I got excited when I saw the $599 lined out, assumed it was a great deal on the Air but just a run of the mill "deal" on the base model. Ok if you need it now but not a screaming, can't miss, deal.

The same people who saw $599 crossed out and didn't even bother to read the rest of the product description.

You can buy this model MK2K3LL/A directly from Apple for $329. Why does this deal show $599 crossed through?

Great tablet, I don't like that little storage trick apple does from 64GB to a straight 256GB. Needs 128

Slick does not mean cheap, slick.

Then what is "slick" if not a great deal on an item?
Maybe listing the reg retail price of a different iPad and pretending this is a great deal?

Been contemplating between getting the Air or this base model ipad... Kind of waiting for one of those "I can't believe it's this cheap" deals for either one to help me decide but I don't really know if the Air is even worth the ~$200 price tag (on sale/slick prices) difference. Spec-wise they don't seem to different especially if I'm primarily using it to stream TV/movies. Anyone have experience with both and would recommend one over the other?
