Looks like limit is 10 which means you can load up on enough to get 20% off Xbox consoles at Microsoft Store if/when in stock.

Unless the account gets a bug being marked as having bought xbox series x when it hasn't. I was blocked needlessly and my account was invited but blocked from purchasing. Microsoft didn't do anything for me but confirmed there was a bug in their code.

I wonder how long after they flagged you for already bought, you can buy again. There has to be a time limit. I bought a Series S March of 2021 and still can't buy another. My guess now is 1 year. I will try it in March just for kicks but yea, it sucks that you can't buy it when you are invited, which is probably the only way to buy a Series X from the ms store.
