I got a phone call from my personal shopper J.T. at Adorama.com today, and he told me PS5 is back in stock. $499.99 for standard edition (with bluray player) but only available via the phone. Limited one per customer.
Check your email account and look for email regarding "Adorama personal shopper program" in the past 2 months, typically they will leave a phone number in it. Call them back, they probably still have some PS5 in stock in the next few days.
Adorama started to offer "personal shopper" services started last November. You don't need to spend thousands of dollars to get this service, I got the first email from my personal shopper right after I spent $10 at Adorama.com last month. This was the only purchase I made last year.
I know a lot of people would hate this "deal" because it is highly YMMV. But I am just sharing my experience on how I got a regular-priced PS5, hope it can help.
