There was another Global knife post last night. I didn't seen many takers. Why? I thought Global is an exceptional knife.

They are very good knives. However, their handles are a very unique design and some people either love or hate them. I'd recommend handling a set of them before buying, if possible.

Absolutely great knives. One of the most hygienically clean designs. No joints, glue ups, etc. Easy to clean.

Good knives, I like the handle since it won't crack in the dishwasher. The problem is it's very brittle and requires sharpening.

I was taught to never put knives in the dishwasher. The chemicals and abrasives will dull the blade and edge much quicker than handwashing.

Have the knife already, it's performed well. Yes, not everyone likes the Global handles.

This should stack with a Sur La Table Amex Offer if you have it.
