Wyze Cam sells for $35.98 on Amazon without the spotlight so you are getting the spotlight for $0.97. The spotlight normally sells for $16.99 on Amazon.
Also the Wyze Cam V3 with 3 months cam plus is on sale for $34.29 which is cheaper than the Wyze Cam alone. This can be found on the same Amazon page but a different option.

YMMV Home Depot might have them for cheaper, few people have found them for $25 or less. See attached receipt below.

These cameras are absolutely fantastic. The people whining about China have no clue what they are talking about. I have 7 v3 cameras giving me a full 360 degree view of continuous security recording around my house. The video quality is outstanding, the price is great, they take memory cards for continuous recording, AND they don't force you to buy their cloud service for them to be useful.
Previously they had free person detection because it was powered by the device itself and didn't have an ongoing expense. Apple purchased the underlying technology they were licensing and dropped Wyze as a customer.
So they built cloud based person detection, which uses their resources and thus has an ongoing expense and why they introduced the monthly fee. For existing customers you could opt in to keep free person detection (which many people, including me, did).
They recently changed things so now even new customers can get cloud person detection for $0 or anything you wish to pay.

just watched video review. I'll skip v3. If v4 doesn't have usb-c integrated like v2 has micro usb, i'll skip this brand. I'll be happy with 24-48 hours free cloud. for my next cam i want 2k/30fps. optical zoom would be nice.
