Ok deal, I guess. I purchased this same unit new through music direct (no longer available) on 11/2/21 for $269.95 free shipping.
FYI, I was under the impression from what I read online that it supported airplay 2, it doesn't, only airplay one. You also have to use Yamaha's MusicCast app as well, which I think is ok. I have it setup to drive back patio speakers (4 x Polk Rci-80i in ceiling speakers) and seems to do well with that although airplay cuts out here and there…

This model is out of stock everywhere and cost more in a used condition on Amazon,Ebay, then this, brand new.
Like I said it has a dedicated PHONO input and I want to try pair it with Klipsch rp-600m speakers.
This is a great unit for your 2.0 audio system. I actually use on to power garage speakers. It has worked great in temps ranging from 35F to 90F for a few years. The Musiccast system that uses wifi is vastly superior to any Bluetooth options if your are streaming from the web.

I know,Sir! I did a lot of "homework" and that's why I was trying to find this receiver in stock.
Finally I did and bought it.
Do you think klipsch rp-600m would be a good choice to pair? Thanx.

if you're needing network.. this is good for you and for your rp-600m. should you *just* need the stereo amp for your turntable and inputs for an external streamer, i'd recommend the beefier and cleaner a-s301.
but this is a great deal for the networking features!!

Try pricing a receiver with HDMI inputs. Due to short supplies, prices have literally increased 50% the past 12 months.

And who would want a receiver without those options? for that kind of money?

$150 is lot more for people who just want a decent stereo receiver.
