The BOSS Ultimate Guitar Care Kit is 75% off list price (usually about $40 street price). I'm not sure of the quality, but it's mostly made in USA and BOSS/Roland quality is usually quite good.

From the site:
"The BOSS Ultimate Guitar Care Kit provides guitar and bass players everything they need to play and care for their instrument. It includes a cable, tuner, detailing spray and cloth, string winder, picks and a strap."

I don't need more tuners, cables or straps. Looks to be a good bundle deal , and can pick one up to keep stuff at different places (studio/home) in case you forget something.

Good discount, although the cheap nylon strap is not much of a use. Other items I can find use for. It would be nice if they included oil for tretboard.

Pretty decent since the tuner itself is $20.99 on Amazon. [amazon.com]

So not a "care kit" but more of a "so you bought a new guitar and need a pack of commonly used stuff"

I can't believe they sold many at full price.

Still, $10 for the cable, $10 for the tuner, $10 for the strap, $1 for the winder, $.50 for the picks, $5 for the polish cloth and spray. For $17 its not bad.

What a helpful comment! /s
Care to elaborate on what makes it trash? Do/Did you own it? What makes this trash compared to other similar items for ~$17? I anxiously await your expert opinion./s

Seriously, didn't even say how long the cable is.

Probably a good deal for a beginner. Most players probably do not need most of these things.

I've never tried "celluliod picks", so this is intriguing.

But seriously, this seems like a good deal if you need a few of the included items. The strap is probably garbage and the cable 10' or shorter, but still not bad overall.

An $18 headstock tuner with some other freebies included. Not the most exciting thing ever, but might be useful for a newbie.

Basically, it's a cheap digital tuner and an 1/4" instrument cable, plus a nearly worthless quality string winder, a junk strap, a few picks, and a worthless cleaning kit.

If you are buying your first guitar and have none of this, worth the price.

Better kits (not this one) include a better winder, a decent capo, and replacement strings.

Here is the problem with these kits. It comes with a cable (no length given), a tuner (no guess on quality), some picks (no mention of gauge), a string winder ($5 item), a strap of probably shit quality), etc. If they actually gave any information, it might be worth $18. It's made for the "I got my spouse/kid a new guitar, what else do they need?" gift-giver. When compared to $20 straps, $20+ cables, $20 tuner, $10 cloth, $5 picks, it's seen as "good starter kit", but most of this will end up in the trash.

the back of the box says premium cotton strap w/ leather ends, MiUSA. I'm not sure how "premium" it is.

Here's my +1 for most of these comments.

It's a decent deal if you can use most of that stuff. Here's my estimated breakdown of the cost of the items individually.

Tuner: $10+
Cable: $5+
Strap: $3+
Winder: $1+
Picks: $1+
Spray/Cloth: $3+
TOTAL: $23+

So IMHO, an adequate deal, not a SLICK deal.
