it is activated by water, so you would just wipe it off when you either towel off or put clothes on.
However, when using it in the shower and lightly rinse off the residue, it leaves a very nice layer of lotion on the skin that is not greasy or sticky and does not wipe off when toweling off.
This also leaves a slippery residue on bottom of shower.

Users beware
I used this for the first time yesterday and when I went into the shower today, the tub was slippery as heck. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for anyone at risk of severe damage from falling in the tub.

Appears coupon is pretty YMMV - no coupon here (good thing, I loaded up on several last month)...
May be limited to 1 or 3 items.

But... you can buy the 3 pack (almost same price if there's no coupon and get $5 back for buying a total of 6:

List Price: $23.97 Details
Price: $16.47 ($0.41 / Fl Oz) & FREE Returns
You Save: $7.50 (31%)
Save $5 when you buy $25 of select items.
S&S brings that price to $14, so 2 3ct would be satisfying the $25 requirement.

Give this to your elderly relatives and make sure their Life Alert pendant is near.

I finally got around to trying this stuff yesterday from the last time I found a deal on here and I have to say this stuff is fantastic for really dry skin especially here in the winter when my skin a so very dry. I would recommend this to anybody, I personally didn't notice by bathtub being slippery, if that's a concern, maybe getting a bath mat would help.

I ordered this last time. It's ok. If you want an in shower moisturizer I prefer neutrogena body oil. It absorbs into your skin and has a nice delicate smell.

I've got oily skin but dry patches in winter, like on my forearms and shins. I use this on my dry spots and they're not sticky for immediately putting on leggings like lotion can do. I have tried the Vaseline spray lotion and it's also great but super expensive for what you get. This is an affordable alternative. I don't use a ton so I haven't noticed it getting slippery in my shower, even when I tried putting a little on my heels.

I also take fairly hot showers so that may impact how quickly the lotion washes down the drain and I never use it in the bathtub, only my smaller square shower. I'd pay $5 again but probably not $8.

If you have a ShopRite nearby, they had this (actually any Nivea lotion) after digital coupon for $0.99 the last 2 weeks. Not sure if they still have the offer this week but worth checking out.

Went with the cocoa butter version. I like the smell better and it was a bit cheaper as well.

Very simple that's not as easy and takes longer. In shower and wet skin lotions apply much easier than traditional lotion applies on dry skin. You don't have to either dry off and use 5x as much lotion for coverage, or wipe off and try to strike a balance between being damp enough but not too wet. Also for literally getting out of the shower to apply lotion and not doing it in the shower stall/bathtub depending on the weather you avoid some discomfort.

Gold Bond Diabetics' is one of the best lotions I've used, it's a bit thicc very nourishing and non-greasy and it dries great without feeling heavy, which are positive attributes that also makes it more time consuming to apply than a thinner less nourishing lotion. If I'm using a traditional lotion such as the Gold Bond these days I'm using a layer of toner or aloe gel first on damp skin to make applying lotion easier. But I more and more rarely feel like spending the time to do that unless I'm noticing my skin is extra dry, and you wouldn't necessarily think the in shower lotion is going to be effective but it's been great for me for years. Once you get used to in shower or wet skin lotion you won't want to go back to spending more time on traditional lotion.

I'm honestly surprised more brands aren't getting into this, there's more options than there used to be but they tend to be much more expensive than the Nivea which I never paid more than ~$5. Some people like the Curel but I found the Curel very slick and leaving an unpleasant coating feeling that doesn't dry. Jergens is fine also, it's very light which can be good for people who don't like heavy textures. Shea Moisture was nice and a bit more nourishing but I'm personally not going up to $8 for an 8oz bottle when the Nivea is completely serviceable.
