But the good thing about smokers is that there is no wrong choice. Every smoker has it's own market. It's fun to try different smokers and styles. I was thinking of picking this one up just to try a different style, since electric and pellet are all I've tried so far. But I'm holding out for the smoker/grill where the fire box can be removed to use for a small tailgate grill. I need a better grill for tailgating.

For $40 might be worth it if you want new... Id never pay more.

I agree about having to add fuel more often on electric smokers, but in my opinion my pellet smoker doesn't have near the Smoky flavor of my electric MES burning wood chips.
