As someone who have used 144, 240 and 360hz monitors, I would say unless you are gaming at a pretty competitive level in FPS games, 144hz will be more than enough. The extra 2-3 ms difference will be unnoticeable for most unless you are playing competitive CS GO, Overwatch or Valorant.
Even then the bottleneck is most likely not your monitor.

Agreed, 144hz is doable on a mid range graphics card, 240hz would require a high end. That being said, the color accuracy is above standard, so this display can be used for work life as well as gaming.
