Ramen noodles are essentially death in a small paper cup or plastic package.people who ate instant noodles more than twice a week tended to suffer a condition called metabolic syndrome.According to the National Institute of Health, metabolic syndrome names a group of risk factors that increase the risk of a person for developing a heart disease, diabetes, or a stroke.Ramen is particularly unhealthy because of a food additive found in them called Tertiary-butyl hydroquinone. TBHQ is a preservative that is a petroleum industry byproduct
Ramen is also very, very high in sodium, calories, and saturated fat, and is considered damaging to your heart. Not only are the actual noodles bad for you, but the packaging that they are placed in is also detrimental to your health. Everyone's heard of bisphenol-A (BPA), a chemical you should absolutely avoid at all costs, as it may be a carcinogen - a substance that causes cancer in living tissue. BPA is widely used in the styrofoam cups that Ramen often comes in.Ramen is also considered a hormone disruptor, which can negatively affect natural hormones in a person's body, like estrogen.women tended to suffer more damage than men did due to high levels of ramen consumption.

No one would argue that ramen is healthy but ramen is not "death in a paper cup."

The metabolic syndrome findings (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24966409/) showed an increase in the rate of metabolic syndrome, not that most people who were on the diet "tended to have it." Interestingly this was only true for women.

TBHQ is everywhere and is generally thought safe in small amounts. The problem is that because it is in so many products people who eat too much processed foods may get too much of it. The problem is not limited to ramen.

The whole BPA issue and hormone disruption (caused by BPA, not ramen) doesn't apply to this product.
