Nah, these commercial models are always significantly more expensive. They have a warranty which allows for actual commercial use, some additional safety features designed for a commercial kitchen, and NSF ratings. For the home baker, you are better off getting the ProLine 7 as it has the same DC motor (which beats the pants off of the AC motor found in cheaper models), nearly the same size bowl (only 1qt smaller), and has a longer non-commercial use warranty.
