Looks like the best price for the cables, others charge a lot for the shipping, the next best price seems to be $14.98.

It's a cable which supports the high power demands of devices that use 100W via USB power delivery, like laptops. For phones and other smaller devices which don't draw that much power anyway or for data transmission you don't need this cable of course.
The specialty of these cables is that they use thick wires, so the required 5A of current can flow.

It's a USB type C to USB type C cable with a length of 1.5m (about 5ft) and it's a genuine Xiaomi one.

"USB Type-C 2.0" means cable conforms to version2.0 specs for Type-C, which were set in 2019.

It should not be confused with USB version. 480 Mbps support means USB 3.0 or newer.

Everything I see says
"USB 2.0 Hi-Speed USB 480 Mbps"
c April 2000

this product specifically says 480mbps
"- Up to 480 Mbps data transfer speed"

I'm pretty sure the 480 Mbps is a mistake. That's a USB 2.0 standard, which USB-C can support at that 480 Mbps, but the USB-C standard can support much more. I would be hestitant to be believe that someone did all the work to create a new standard that's compatible with USB-C ports, but only transfers data at 480 Mbps.

100W??? USB is 5V DC. To deliver 100W, the cable needs to sustain 20A of current. you need a 12gauge wire to sustain 20A. this cable is way thinner than 12 gauge, maybe 18-20 gauge at most.
