I bought this last time it was on sale. It "was" awesome. I temporarily put it on my Christmas tree for testing. Well, that night we woke at 4am to the very strong smell of an electrical fire in the house. We ran downstairs and this guy was the culprit. Luckily the issue was contained inside the box, and it somehow miraculously still was functional but I obviously lost confidence it and returned it to Amazon. I didn't see anyone else having the same issue, so I'm sure I just got a bad one. Although, if I had it outside I probably would have never noticed the burning smell.
