No battery in stock let alone clearance price anywhere near various zip codes that I checked. I would have gotten one or two of those as back-ups

It's a true unicorn. The batteries were a little more available I imagine than the inverter.

That's weird. I've used a single 2.0 AH battery for 4 years with a blower, trimmer, and hedger and it's been fine. Now I have a few more.
