What do you recommend for non-stick? Your link doesn't seem to provide an answer to that - just that it's important to keep in mind that non-stick should be considered disposable.
I take good care of my nonstick pans but still have gone through many different ones over the years because - as your link indicates - they all wear out over time. Of all the ones I've tried (Tfal, calphalon, tramontina, nordic ware, analon, all-clad), All-Clad has been my hands-down favorite for its size/shape and thickness. I have an 8"/10"/12" all-clad anodized nonstick right now. I think I still have a year or two of life left on them, but I intend to replace them with another set of all-clad when the time comes. That said, I still do most of my cooking on my tramontina triply though.

Get something reasonable that you won't mind tossing away after a few years, nonstick pans are not BIFL.

Sure. I 100% agree with that philosophy on nonstick. Fis said s/he didn't recommend allclad for nonstick and I was trying to understand why not / and what alternative s/he recommends.
I wouldn't pay retail price for allclad nonstick, but I like them enough that I'd happily pay more for them over all the other ones I've tried. If there are cheaper alternatives of comparable quality, I'd be willing to give it a shot (hence my original question to Fis).
By the way, I looked it up and it looks like I got my 8.5" / 10" set for $25 at Macy's back in 2018, and my 12" for $40 from All-Clad's factory B-grade sale. I think they'll last ~5yrs for me, which to me is well within the "reasonable" price range.
FYI i've found this a few times at TJ Maxx/Homegoods for 30-40 bucks, I think they come from the 10 piece box set and they sell them individually.
Yes, this exact pan for $29.99 at Marshalls. Stacks of D&W pans, stacks of Denmark Made pans, and one All Clad. They seem to come in rare and hard to find, and somewhat store worn.
