Yep, that is what I thought too. I know that sometimes people have these sent to their junk mail or seldom used email address, so it was worth a shot in case it slipped through the cracks.

Just checked and after fees and tip its same as just buying directly at the store. What a joke. Uber is literally screwing the restaurant to make money.

I get these Uber Eats restaurant coupons all the time. If you are careful some are a very good deal, but it takes some time to get through to get the real deals. In order to get the best deals I usually go straight to the deals page, and then just focus on the buy one get one free offers. The offers not only change daily, they often change throughout the day. Realize that the restaurants on Uber almost always raise the prices for each entre from what they charge from their regular pickup prices, then Uber charges an additional service fee, along with a delivery fee. When ordering sushi they may even add another preparation fee. So you may be paying almost double than if you just went over and picked it up. Then Uber is always pushing for a high tip for the delivery person as Uber pays them so little and they are having more and more problems retaining drivers.Uber starts the tip at 15%, and this is on the total of maybe $25 in food and another $25 in all their additional fees and tax. Why you would be paying a tip on $25 in fees is pretty dumb. I always reduce the auto tip to zero and just pay the driver a tip when they deliver to may house because a couple of times they never even delivered the food..
