That is so far from the truth. Titan quality is nowhere near Rogue quality. Why do you think Rogue costs so much more? Because Rogue is made in the US and everything from the finish, welding, powder coating is light year better than Titan. Titan pretty much copies all their design. At one point they even have a suggestion page where you can send them a link to competitors product and they would copy it. Titan is cheap made in China stuffs but their price is affordable and their products are as functional. If you don't care about the looks and feels and finish and of course that Rogue logo, the. Titan will be more than enough. It's not as pretty but steel is steel. I have equipment from both in my garage gym.

Great deal if you're looking for a cheap full rack. I paid 330 for this and it was a previous version that doesn't seem nearly as nice as this I had some issues with it wobbling a bit or being perfectly square but was able to resolve it with some spacers. It works perfectly fine but that being said I wish I bought a nicer rack that was a little taller.

Generally speaking, Titan equipment is on par with Rogue equipment, in terms of quality, though at an affordable price. Like Rogue, there is the infrequent QC issue, but Titan has a solid customer service team that solves those problems, in my experience. If you've been shopping for a rack, understand the difference between light-duty versus heavy-duty ones, and know your needs, this may be a perfect buy.

I sleep next to an x-3. Only annoyance is no numbering. Simple fix with some tape and marker.

I appreciate the responses, I want to have the basic equipments without breaking the bank, but quality is a major factor. I love to have Rogue for their quality and perhaps the logo too Smilie, but the prices are far north for me. So, like @aapocketz said, I think paying little more for a nicer rack is really worth it.

I think Titan is more comparable to Cap barbell products. Fit and finish is not pretty, but fully functional. I would recommend sticking with products labeled V2, which represents an updated version of their first attempt at a knock off. There are plenty of YouTube videos comparing Titan products with competitors. I have not been disappointed with any of my Titan purchases, and have no problem buying knock off gym equipment at a discount.

The T2 is solid. Titan makes great affordable products and if anything is damaged during shipping, they will make it right every time. I have the T3 Squat Stand and it is awesome. Welds look great and everything is solid. If you're on a budget this is a great choice.

I am loving their rackable hex trap bar v2.

I did some research before purchasing around 1500$ worth of equipment from them. None of it let me down. The trap bar got lost in transit (chicago). They sent another quickly.

I have t2 short bought on fb marketplace in 2019. it's a solid rack for my need. I've used a Rouge rack before at a crossfit gym, titan quality is not the same but I can't justify spending that much for Rouge. T2 is a lower end rack, though. Titan also has attachments that you can add on down the road.

I probably should have led with some substantiating anecdote; my first rack was a Titan - when I moved I changed over to a folding Rogue rack (due to space constraints, and financial situation improvements.) My X-3 accessories carried over to my Monster Lite series rack, thankfully. I still use Titan accessories, and have bought a couple of more after transitioning my rack to Rogue. I do have and continue to have experience with both brands.

In my opinion, both products are made of the same materials, designs, and build principals. I've experienced QC issues with both Rogue and Titan (humorously, powder coating and bolt holes alignment from each); Rogue offered a minimal discount in both instances, Titan refunded and let me keep the product in one instance, refunded and paid shipping back in the other. You and I have had different experiences, it appears, and that's expected.

That said, to answer your question, I feel Rogue costs so much more due brand recognition after becoming both sponsor and a primary equipment provider with numerous professional partnerships. I can't, from my experience or opinion, say their cost is justified when comparing quality to Titan. Is it 100% equal? No - I'll concede that; Rogue is, IMO, a little better. Is a Titan T-2 a good buy for $300? Ab-so-friggin'-lutely....if a medium-duty / entry-level rack is what's appropriate for @rghazzi, or anyone else curious.

Is this stable enough to not have to bolt down?
