I do wanna add that these are fragile, both the bucket and the lids.
I bought 200 from HD, they arrived by freight, and 20 buckets were cracked, and about 7 lids were cracked or chipped .... I forget exactly how many lids were damaged.
I went to s local HD to replace them .... harder to do with a company hundreds of miles away.

Same brand as these? I bought a few and had no issues.

What are the chances that Company B would steal the exact same pattern, pay to make a very expensive mold, to produce an identical bucket as Company A is making?
I'd say: Slim to None.
I bought mine from HD, badged as "HDX" brand .... but that's just a sticker.
Barring a forensic analysis of the compounds used, judged by the capacity and design, I'd have to say Yes, same Brand.
And you bought "a few", locally, whereas I bought 200, by freight .... I had a 10% Failure rate, that's tough to reproduce in a smaller, "few" sample.
My Comment is more for trying to keep Buyers from bouncing these off the floor, thinking it'll take the abuse.
I don't think these will.
If you want buckets with tremendous flexibility, Homz makes flexible, forgiving buckets, that are also stout, at the same time.
But, they're expensive .... K Mart used to distribute them, they were, at best, 6$ for 18 gallons, but that was ....... 15 years ago.

So you you bought a different product from a different store and are complaing here why?
Cause whatever you bought from home Depot is not rural king.
I agree it's better to go to the store. Probably by design. But if your ordering 200 it's a pallet. Of course some will break in transit in winter. That's not a normal order.
My costco just got like 4+ pallets of the 27 gallon yellow totes, so definitely looks like they will be on sale soon. I need a bunch, hopefully < $7.50

You're making way to much common sense for that guy.

Thanks for the info that these might be fragile.
I am sooo curious to hear more about the obsessive compulsive organizer that married an out of control hoarder and then needed 200 of these 27 gallon totes. That's over 5,000 gallons of organized stuff!!!
Does anyone know if this brand stacks with the Costco Greenworks? I know they're similar but the lid pattern looks slightly different, and more importantly the ribs on the side look somewhat different making empty stacking not work.

...... I got 200 of these from HD, a month ago, and that shipping was just under fifty bucks.
Here: 100 of these will take 470$ to ship to me.
