How can this be a thing? A squeegee less than 2 inches wide?

Do you mean less than 2 feet wide? It says it is 18 inches...that is more than 2 inches.
Oooohhh...now I see the OP post. 1.67 in. LOL....yeah, must've meant 1.5 feet or something...the picture shows 18 inches.

$5 all around me. On a different note, how do you clean the old asphalt off it? Or is it pretty much a few uses and just toss?

That's what the description states. I think that measurement is the face of the squeegee. Sticker says it is 18-in

It's for sealing driveways. You can easily wash the sealant off with a hose after you're done provided you don't wait too long otherwise it dries on and must be scraped off. I just toss them though since I don't seal my driveway often and they're relatively cheap.

If you clean the most of the driveway sealer off while it's still wet you can get a few uses out of it. But I've found eventually they get crusty with buildup from use and need to be replaced.

Granted I've not tried that hard to keep it clean as it's a pretty cheap item to replace in the grand scheme of things.....my driveway needs about 12 5-gallon containers of sealer and I avoid the cheaper sealer that doesn't last more than a couple of years since it's not a fun job.

Should be fine but might be hard if you hit ice or snow.

This is what I would need it for. Have a slight dip in the garage that just pools, especially after pulling in the cars that have driven through snow that melts once inside.

Maybe a stupid question, but is this just the squeegee end? Does it come with the handle?

Less than 2 inches tall, from the ground, the width of the blade not the length

.
For me and I did not notice first comment, there is nothing in the on site description, specs or single picture that shows 18".... I had to find it in the Q&A.

In the specs, "Blade Width (Inches) 1.67"
=================

A bit narrow and prefer 24", if still in stock when I get there, I will pick up one or two for moving water to drain that drips off trucks when ice melts.
