This deal was posted a couple months ago. I'd left the window open on my phone and found it today marked expired. Upon checking the HD page I saw that the Large and X-Large are still marked down, but for in-store only. The are plenty in stock near me. Figure others may be interested.

Respectfully disagree. Many less-experienced users have little to no awareness of what rep points are nor how to give them. I see nothing wrong with reminding someone that reaped the benefits of a post that it's appreciated if they send rep. Besides that, I frequently see OPs complaining when they get many thumbs but few reps. I've never once thought they were out of line. Again, I respect your opinion, but do not agree with it.

I believe in the past it was against the rules to ask for reps. Now if SD would put the "I bought this." button in the mobile app you would see more rep points.

In truth, nothing but reputation. How much a person cares about that varies. For me, since I'm very generous in repping pretty much every good deal I come across and I don't have much free time to find and post deals myself very often, I probably place a higher value than most on gaining reputation when I am actually able to post a deal. But honestly I don't care much if someone consciously or unconsciously doesn't give rep. As DealReaper implied in an earlier comment, SD could certainly stand to streamline the recognition process. I don't know - maybe make rep points have real value like retailer discounts?
