Okay, I know these aren't Panasonic Eneloops, but Eneloops sell for around $2 a battery and these come out to about $0.56 per battery with Amazon Subscribe and Save.

Also, these batteries work awesome in those $1 Harbor Freight magnet lights [harborfreight.com] that are on sale right now.

Tenergy is junk just like EBL. Stick with Eneloop.

All the Tenergy rechargeable batteries I bought some time ago are dead while most of the Eneloops are still alive.

Have both and they've worked for years with frequent use. I don't use them often in my DSLR camera flash but when I do, they were fine.

Sorry your experience was different.

Has anyone else tried the IKEA brand LADDA Ni-MH batteries (HR03)? The AAA are 900mAh. I bought (2) 4 packs of the LADDA AAA batteries from my local IKEA to try them out and haven't had any complaints but I just used them for remotes or small flashlights. They were $6.99 per 4 pack though when I bought them a year ago. I also have several Eneloops in AA and AAA which worked great for me over the years. I charge them all with the MAHA Powerex MH-C801D 8 cell charger.

I've had really good luck with Ikea's LADDA batteries. Not a single dead one, bought a couple dozen in 2020.

I've never tried them (I want to), but rumor has it [slrlounge.com] that they might be the same as Eneloops.

I've seen positive comments about IKEA's rechargeable batteries in other deals, but never tried them personally. I refuse to set foot in an IKEA store and support their manipulative store layout strategies that force customers to walk through the entire store. I will not be a part of that craziness regardless of how good their prices might be.

I mean there are literally doors in each section to bypass parts of the store where you can go right to what you want without walking through the entire store.

Also Ikea batteries are made with Japanese cells not Chinese so they are very good

Yep, Laddas are great. On par with Eneloop. And yes, there are shortcuts all over Ikea stores. 😆

Tenergy is a respected brand, they make NIMH and LION batteries, i have used both. They are not the best nor the worst. for this price they are about right.

Only 850 mah not 1000 as advertised
not sure where you are getting that, These are not low self discharge they will lose 1-3% per day on average. They are for charging up and using same day. not for a flashlight in your car.

The tenergy centura are their low self discharge and they claim about the same as eneloop but in my experience are not quite as good. They punch above their price class but not quite as good as eneloop.

I have had both eneloop and tenergy centura die on me, especially in the AAA size, but they are a cut above regular every day China NIMH even in LSD form.

This is a decent deal if you do not need LSD batteries, but check for the centura's if you do they are still at a very good price compared to eneloops.

they are eneloop pros but not the current generation so they are not quote as good, however IKEA has moved away from them to the eneloop standard in the AAA there are no more of the 900mah. In the AA they have both standard and high capacity but the high cap are likely gone when IKEA runs out.

order them online. for the price you can get eneloop quality from much much less than eneloop pricing. for the standard 800 MAH it is $5.49. same for the 1900 mah AA. The 2450 mah hi cap AA are $6.99 i live too far away to make it worth while to drive there, so i bought 16 for around the cost of 8 eneloop.
