DEWALT 10-oz Cordless Battery Powered Anti-drip Rod Caulk Gun (Bare Tool)
Item #1963018Model #DCE560B

Can't wait till spring to caulk around the house and use the whole tube before it always dries up. Any one got suggestions for caulk\silicone that can be reused for a year once opening?

There are a few reviews saying they quit working after a couple dozen tubes. Curious fellow SD's experiences? TIA.

A tube of glue or caulk is like 3-10$. Just do your project and chuck it. Or go caulk a neighbor or friends house

I didn't like it for actual caulking. I didn't stop very well after you let off the trigger... a lot of caulk still came out. Might be better for adhesive.

But maybe just a bad unit? I got it on clearance and sold it for what I paid for it. I just stick to the manual guns since I don't typically run more than 1-2 tubes at a time.

Based on a few reviews from what appear to be actual contractors and your experience I think I'll pass.

Same here. Diehard Dewalt fan but only really good for small adhesive tubes. You can get the sausage adapter for it for cheap sometimes and makes it a huge score

I have the ryobi one and was super excited to use it. After a few uses, I haven't touched it and continue to use my manual gun. Can never seem to get flow right, drips after stopping. If you have a ton of square footage to do like an adhesive then it'd be awesome.
