I had to take apart the main unit, to be able to fit in, the smaller aluminum nodes;
hope that makes sense.

May be a silly question, but can this be used in attic and still get good signal? Stupid HOA doesn't allow outdoor antennas.

I've got mine installed in the attic and it works just fine.

Yes. You will not get as good of a signal but it will work. Most of these are rated by how many miles a at it can pick up a signal. This one is 80 miles. There are some that are 100-120 miles.

https://www.antennasdirect.com/tr...cator.html

Go here and type in your zip code to see how far away you are from the transmitters.

The description on Lowe's says that it can be mounted in the attic.

What your HOA is doing is probably illegal.

HOAs can't prohibit outdoor TV antennas:

This one's on clearance for $11.17 too. I picked up one of each. These are awesome for cord cutters and work 1000 times better then the little flat plastic models. I actually have them mounted in closets.
