Be careful which ratchet you pick. I got the fuel 2557-20 and it was heavy and bulky. Great if you plan to use it like a ratchet to break though bolts free but slow and heavy. I got the smaller, lighter and cheaper non-fuel version and it is a lot faster and lighter. I'd rather break bolts free with a regular ratchet anyway.

Non-fuel is what I am after. They used to be hundreds on FB marketplace but that dried up. I really wish Ridgid would come out with one that isn't the jobmax one as I prefer their tools most of the time and would prefer to stay in that ecosystem.

You're on the right track then. I had to buy the wrong one to figure out which one I wanted. I snagged the $99 deal with the screw gun and accessories. Maybe the deal will come back. Getting into the M12 ecosystem isn't that bad. Chargers are dirt cheap and Waitley batteries are actually pretty good. Most aftermarket batteries are total garbage but Waitley are almost on par with factory in performance. $40 for 2x 6ah batteries.
