I have 2 of these and 2 stationary cams. These are great and even make fantastic baby monitors. I can be outside and have cell service and get a very loud notification when noise is detected. Very stable and no monthly cost.

Can this be used inside your house by the window pointing outside to the street? Avoids the hassle of real exterior camera.

there's no cloud recording or no cloud fees? How long is event recording? RTSP compatible?

Is there anything on the market like wyze cam but 2k with some free cloud storage, SD slot, RTSP, good color night vision that not all in one with built in memory or battery. I want a plug like wyze. Preferably black color. I don't want to buy another useless 15fps or less 1080 wyze. I need something better, more expensive but some cloud or local server storage with Blue Iris or similar. This is for indoor but will be pointed outside. I need better quality especially night and faster fps. Preferably in black color if such cam exists.

Technically, you can do it .. but there are some issues. If the sun shines a certain way, then the glare from the window blurs the image.
Also at night, if you have night vision on to see in the dark, the glare from the window makes it impossible to see outside.
btw, I have this camera installed outside at my home in Kentucky under my carport and it works great. They're not rated for outdoor use but I'm guessing it's because they're not water proof. So an long as you keep it away from rain, it will work outside.
I've heard of other installing these cams outside too in the southern states and they work great.

They use an SD card, so you can pretty much record for a long time. The recordings are small so even a 32gb card goes a long way.
The recording quality is in 2K and picture and audio recording is clear. I have 12 Eufy cams between my home and business and they all work great.

You must have them connected to NVR? and can see live view remotely? I'm looking for something like wyze and i don't mind downloading and saving video from SD but i need to do it remotely, over internet, not physically pull the card out and go through videos. I don't know if eufy standalone cams do it or need a hub/nvr for remove access?

After reading on amazon i think it does operate similar to wyze except there's no cloud storage. I don't know eufy app. I was looking into outdoor with color night vision but it only works with spotlight on Frown with enough light even crappy wyze cams v2 do good in low light.

Are there any 2k cameras on the market with built in usb cable or usb-c port? I only see micro usb.

I do not use an NVR.. only the Eufy Security App on my iPhone or iPad to watch the live stream or I can go back in time and review older footage.

The night vision is pretty good. It's just as good as my wired old cameras running on a BNC cable.

No you don't have to pull the SD card to download the videos.. you can do it thru your app remotely.

They do offer cloud storage but you have to pay for it.

I like the USB Micro cable .. it works well and no issues with powering the device. Eufy also has wireless cams that only require the battery to be charged one or twice a year. They also have cams that are powered by solar panels, so you never have to charge the battery. But they cost a bit more.

Check out some reviews on YouTube if you're interested.

I can't decide this or mini or c24. Will give it a shot. As long as i can download events and view remotely. Would like to try RTSP software with it.
