Even though this is effectively $800 (if you count the $50 Shop Card), IMO, the 75" UN9070 @ $900 is a better value. It adds upgrades that include: a native 120Hz panel, 4 HDMI ports, HDMI 2.1 support, a better picture processor, and the Magic remote... all for just $100 extra. https://www.costco.com/lg-75%22-c...61676.html

Does the native 120 hz panel means no soap opera effect while still having benefit of high refresh rate?

Generally, the NANO80 probably has better overall PQ (TV shows, movies) than the UN9070 due to it's NanoCell (QLED) Tech, but the overall experience can depend a lot on one's personal uses/preferences. The UN9070 has a 120Hz panel with a quicker response time and judder-free performance... suiting it better for sports, action movies, and gaming. The addition of HDMI 2.1 support (4K@120Hz) on the UN9070 may also make it more enticing for gamers.
