Bought one during this same deal in Feb(?) of 2021. It was 375 for BF in 2021 when I bought another one. Not perfect for gaming but great for working from home.

edit - just one thing is no usb C. I'm just mentioning, not "expecting" at this price point.

This monitor is going back tomorrow. I needed this for work, where I do a lot of document reading and scrolling. The text looks like garbage when static, but when scrolling it's unreadable. Love the UW format, but need to save up for a nice IPS.

I just picked up one as well. Coming from 2x27" IPS I'm torn. The loss of screen real estate is going to take some getting used to, however I like only having the single monitor. As a WFH dev I have no issues with the text and I love that black is actually black and not gray like the IPS screens.

One thing I really don't like is that if I shift even a bit I can see the effect of the limited viewing angle. I'd really like the 34GP83A-B but not sure if it's worth 2x the price to get IPS.

I bought and returned one of these and ended up getting a 34GP83A-B. If you're gaming on it, it's 100% worth 2x the price. Incredible monitor. If not though, I'm not sure.

If you can live without the curve, you can get a pretty nice IPS ultrawide like the HP X34 or the Gigabyte M34WQ for < $500.
