I have one for schedules, one for to dos in my office, and one in the kitchen that we write notes/grocery lists on.
I integrated motion sensor LED lights into my to do list so it blinks on every time I walk by it so I get a reminder of tasks.
One con of this method is that depending on the glass and the lighting, there may be a shadow under the writing, for this application, thinner is better.

I mean I haven't used it lol. Basically it's a metal large piece of paper sized/thin thing framed in wood that feels like plastic with magnets that are useless to hold stuff onto it. And markers/erasers that you need to replace because the quality of them smears and is crap.
Screws and plastic anchors
Most fridges are somewhat curved so I would imagine it wouldn't as this is flat. Maybe with Velcro tape but that probably costs just as much as this item
