Singapore Airline's KrisFlyer program is currently running a campaign, when reward program points (such as American Express Rewards) are transferred to KrisFlyer miles, you'll receive 1 Elite mile for every 5 KrisFlyer miles.

Edit: From United States, only United Airline and Singapore Airline passengers are allowed entry. For example, on United Airline website, you can book Swiss Air tickets to Singapore. But afaik, you wouldn't be allowed in the country if you flew that. United hasn't updated their website to reflect that.
