Don't have a Sam's club, but this looks like a great deal.

I have a weighted 88 key keyboard which I love as well, but for me, the 76 key coupled with synth action and USB midi would actually be a perfect combination too for other stuff (organ, synth, pads, etc). This keyboard has a lot of great sounds on it, but I'd be more interested on using it as a midi controller.

This guy gives a pretty good rundown on how to connect this keyboard to the PC and get some pretty cool sounds for free: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldyAMCSRvC0
Give me a link for an 88 key that is even close to this price. Whit this Yamaha youngster can learn and a parent can gauge the kids interest and decide if a $500+ 88 key is worth the investment.
I bought a Yamaha EZ300 61-Key for my kids this past Christmas, very similar to this (lighted and less keys). Ages are 7, 6, and 4. If you have zero experience, getting a Keyboard/piano by itself with no teacher or self learning app will be hard at any age. I subscribed to the app "Simply Piano", they're all doing pretty well. There's a few good apps out there that helps you learn. The 4 years old is able to play basic keys on both hands now and it's only been about a month.

Thanks. What age group or learning level could this be appropriate for?

88 keys or nothing

And how much would a decent 88-keys cost?

Wow that is good to know. How much 'practice' do they do daily? How much is your involvement? This is encouraging.
