I don't understand how all of these power supplies differ. All 850W, all gold, all fully modular. Anyone know?

Different OEM. The G6 is probably their best current gold PSU and is made by Seasonic while the G+ is made by FSP and does not test as well as the G6. Decent PSU though but you can get a better one for cheaper if you wait for it.

I just bought a 650w supernova 80+ gold GT from them for $60. Is the GT line any good?

The GT is a pretty solid unit made by HEC. Not much is known about it otherwise but it's definitely not A tier.

Thanks for that. It's quite annoying that the website has so little info on the differences.

Agreed it's annoying vendors can hide stuff like this. EVGA has used questionable OEMs in the past and it's critical you know which OEM is supplying the unit because it can be a huge hit it miss. Corsair is similar but the majority of their units are solid.

Where do you get this info? I'm on the market for a PSU and want to be able to vet this when I see deals in the future.

Well I used to follow johnnyguru but I think hes retired now and the site is no longer up. He had a review of the G+ long ago which i remember reading. Might be worth checking something like waybackmachine for it
