Western Digital Store members possibly have received an email "Shop More, Save More" that has link to the following discounts...
Save $10 off a purchase of $100, $25 off a purchase of $175 or $60 off a purchase of $300, total in cart before taxes and shipping.

Click the link to activate the coupon (unfortunately I can't find what the promocode is). The discount will automatically show in cart.

WD Elements Desktop Hard Drive 18TB - $329.99
In cart, the final price is $279.99, Free Shipping
Coupon expires 1/27/2022

Seller refurbished with 90-day warranty....even worse.
You needed to invest $50 more to upgrade your floppy drive to 2.88 and get a square hole puncher to offset the sensor to implement a in-place upgrade. This in theory could scale your economy better. Even if the success rate is 70%, that will still net you around $3.5 mil of saving.
$15/TB. Ugh, so tempting. Thanks, OP.

Crazy good deal, this is the best price I think I've seen on an 18TB. For the past few years the black Friday sale has been 299.99. Thank you OP!

I got my 8tb seagate for < $100, so $12.5 / TB is my guide line... will get it for $225...

It's not a linear progression, so you'll likely need to wait until you're able to get the 8tb around $60. I'd be interested in that as well! :-)

In 2017, I bought 3x 8TB for $140 each. They had white NAS drives inside. The 3 drives are still working fine to this day at RAID 5.

Fast forward 5 years today, the price per TB seem to have stayed the same. I would have guessed that 18TB would have been the price of 8TB 5yrs ago but I am wrong.

This 18TB should be $140 these days.

I got my 14s for $11/TB on BF from WD after 20% r10 cb.... if only the student discount would have stacked for me.
edit: btw, this is a great deal still, it's obviously not BF now...
