I'd like to know as well. Polyester is naturally flame-retardant, and the alternative to this would be chemically-treated products. Sure it'll probably melt, but I'd rather a disfigured child than a toasted one.

It's also important to buy the kids pajamas without the flame retardant that is banned in Europe for being neurotoxic. Oddly enough, you need to buy the ones with a huge warning tag that the clothing is NOT flame retardant and has to be worn snugly
