The welders are decent. I did pick one up 2 weeks ago. Would they be willing to price adjust? I know it states it does not apply to prior purchases on the coupon itself but maybe they'll be a tad lenient on an ITC member? Thanks in advance!

They should be willing to adjust the price for you since you have you have 90 days to make a return. It's basically a return/rebuy. I've done it in the past without any problems.
Should they decide to act stupid then as much as it sucks bring the welder in, return and then go pick a fresh one in a box to buy. They'll lose money that way since they can't resell your return as new. It makes sense for them to adjust the price. Upon further reading some items have a restocking fee so you'd need a reason, like it's not working properly or not working at all.

I'm done with HF. Everything is overpriced compared to stuff from the big box stores. Lots of exclusions and exception to use their coupon. I would not be surprised to see them file chapter 11. It's very dead every time I visit the store.

The ones I go are either sold out or low on inventory a lot of the time so somebody is still going there and buying their stuff. Plus they are still opening new stores. I get your point though. I used to go to HF without question for stuff, but now I check other stores first because a lot of the time the bigger store has a better quality item for the same price, if not less, and a better warranty.

Would love to see a harbor freight doc or book. They seemingly had the the market for smelly straight from China stuff with a few gems.. Then got 5 million house brands, tried to compete with big box hardware stores and drove their core base away..

Anything I have looked at has been well priced. My local store has a good amount of business. Maybe you have it confused with a different store.
