RIDGID 18V Brushless Cordless 4-Tool Combo Kit w/ (2) MAX Output Batteries, 18V Charger, Bag & (2) BONUS Tools

There are other combos where they are including 2 different bonus tools than what's posted here

I don't think they're allowing users to build their own set at this time

Free? lol. The other new Ridgid deal thread gets you the combo kit above for $267. So you aint getting nothing for free. You're paying another $133 for the Circular saw and batteries. A decent price, but not free.

In the other deal you are getting the tools at the cheaper price due to the "hack", but you are correct as to the price breakdown of the "free" batteries and tool. No such as thing as free Wink

That's a killer deal. I would have bought that, but I already have them all brushed.

But the deal is great, all tools are real, no radio/flashlight shenanigans!

Yeah, could have been a 5 tool combo with a flashlight but those pesky flashlights annoy people so its a 4 tool combo for the same price...

This is a nice deal. I spent probably 5 years piecing together different deals to assemble what amounts to exactly what is listed. Hacking deals nets tools typically to ~$75 each and you're getting 4 batts and a charger here on top of that.

Only thing I'd advise is if you don't already have another charger, you probably are going to want more than one.

Ha! This rings very true. I was waiting and waiting around for this deal a few years ago but it never came around so I started piecing together a Makita kit slowly but surely. Took a lot of work.

Funny enough, right after I completed my "kit" I went to a pawn shop to get a used router and - of course - they happen to have essentially this set (without the extra batteries) brand new in box for like $100. I couldn't believe it.

I keep waiting for a deal like this, but with a regular drill/impact. I guess they're really trying to market that new hammer drill? It's driving me nuts.

You do not have to attach the handle to the hammer drill.

I just got into the Ridgid ecosystem and already have both of those drivers and the circular saw. However, the multi-tool, sawzall, charger, and 3 x 4.0AH & 1 x 2.0AH Max Output batteries make this well worth it once I sell the redundant stuff on eBay.

I knew that. I just assumed the hammer mode adds a bit more price, weight, and size. But I can't say I know the exact specs. Maybe it's not actually significant enough to worry about.

I don't know about Rigid but I have used Dewalt hammer drills in normal mode and it's not a bid deal. That being said I know the trend for tools these days is "smaller and lighter," but really it depends on user preference. For example, someone with small hands and advance arthritis probably prefers the lightest smallest drill they can find. For others, using a hammer drill for everything is a non-issue.
