Just want to kick in my two cents. I'm not at all about hard games, the only true souls game I ever played was the original Demon's Souls which I bounced off for being too unforgiving. I waited until I could get this for $40 from Target and I'm so glad I finally bit. Being able to go and do something else if a boss gives you a hard time is a total game changer, and this is the most well done open world I think I've ever seen. Absolutely packed with content, and though I'd change a thing or two if I could, like difficulty levels and having more people alive and interactive, I'm having an absolute blast. 70ish hours deep and still having a great time.

Thanks for the post, picked it up for $42 and already activated and installed the game.

I've been trying hard to not pre-order or buy games day 1, though I'm a big 'Souls' fan so Elden Ring was tough to hold out on.

Idea is to wait a bit, let some bugs/performance issues get worked out, then once the sale hits, buy. And baby, that day is today!
