I bought this one is black and have had it for a year for my beauty products. Beyond pleased!

If you're using it for sodas. I'd say it can fit about 6 cans

These use about 50watts 24/7. A normal mini fridge will use about the same watts only when compressor is running which is much more efficient.

True, these "peltier" based thermoelectric coolers are much more limited in their usefulness than most people realize.

They are very inefficient and generate a lot of heat. They are pretty much a gimmick, not a real fridge. It's okay for very short term use, like a couple of days, otherwise people should get a real fridge that has a compressor.

A small compressor based refrigerator will cost a little over $100, will use far less energy, and holds more than units like this. Many have a tiny freezer section as well to freeze an ice cube tray or hold a pint of ice cream.

The one without the speaker use about 30 watts every single second. That is about 22 kilowatts per months. My rate is about $0.25 per kilowatt. It will cost roughly $5-$6 dollars a month to run this mini fridge which is very energy inefficient.

The 50 watts one cost about $9 to run monthly.

I'm sure there are use cases for this, but I laughed out loud when I read that title... With a built-in speaker. 😂

Every time one of these gets posted some Edison Einsteins whine they use more power than the Empire State Building. They don't. This one states; Annual Energy Consumption ‎1 Kilowatt Hours The white one states: Annual Energy Consumption ‎5 Kilowatt Hours They can also run on a car plug, do you REALLY think they'd use as much power as these geniuses whine?

I have the Dr. Pepper version. It keeps my sodas cold in my Home Theater room, even when it's hot up there in summer. It's best to put cans in already cold. It will maintain the coldness. There is a little fan noise, not bad, in a bedroom it might function as white noise. I've had mine running for well over a year now and notice no change in my electric bills. They're cute, and a lot smaller and cheaper than a compressor fridge. A compressor fridge would be too large for the space where I keep this, and I'm sure would use more power

Why are you getting so bent out of shape over actual figures? I didn't pull those watts out of thin air, I actually used a kill-a-watt meter and tested both one of these 6-can mini coolers as well as an actual normal mini fridge. Anyone reading this thread can do the tests themselves. You'll have a cute little 6 can fridge that will chill to about 50 degrees and will cost about twice as much to run as my normal mini fridge that will chill to 35 degrees and holds much more. If you want the cute one by all means knock yourself out. It's cheaper initially and you can bring it on trips and it'll sit on a desk. Other than that it just isn't as good.

$0.25 per kWh is expensive. The rates are much lower in Oregon.

Description says it'll do as low as 32 degrees 😐
