Search Amazon for "native 1080p" projectors. If you are patient, you will find deals that can get you a budget, native 1080p projector for under $100. I have a higher end model projector in my theater and I still am blown away by what some of the cheap Chinese brands are capable of nowadays.

It's been a while since I've purchased one. I got a few of the Vivimage Explore 3 models for just under $80 about a year ago and they were one of the best budget models I had ever played with. They don't seem to be on Amazon anymore but they are sold under other brand names/models. I believe it is also sold as the WiMiUs S1.
If you really want a budget projector, make sure it has plenty of high reviews with pictures to support the purchase. Sort your searches for daily deals on Amazon and look for additional coupons or lightning deals that can be combined and you can get some really good prices
