This is a glossy screen.
I always buy matte if I'm going to be doing work on a laptop.
However, I prefer glossy for the extra color pop and sharpness. I find that usually a slight screen tilt up or down and/or a slight angling of the laptop eliminates all reflection. Obviously you are screwed, daywalker, if you try to compute outside in the sun.
On the other hand, the black level is not that great. On the other, other hand, there have been Macs with similar black levels and nobody complained. It matters to me because I'm one of those people that stream their life away.

16 gb ram and 1 tb ssd is more than enough for me
for the costco extended warranty, would we be dealing with costco directly or MSI?
