Sunjoe also uses proprietary connections so you are limited in what add ons you can use and if something breaks you can't use other brand replacements
I've had a 1450 psi sun Joe for 6 years I paid $80 for and I feel like I got my money's worth. The pressure isn't great and if I could do it again I would have bought something else with more psi. I keep hoping one year it won't work so I can get a new one but it somehow keeps working. I had to replace some gaskets on it but otherwise it's fine.
Same experience. Replaced the hose connector with an upgraded one $6 after going through the spare gaskets it comes with out of the box.
No regrets - wash siding of the house and fences every 2 years, wash driveway every 3 years, been washing car once a month with this. No problems for 6 years.
Nothing special but nothing bad either.

you literally have a dozen better brands than sunjoe. id go with the green works @ Costco at least you can return that thing when it eventually breaks.
go with this over that for the increase in cost, and the fact you get a longer warranty, 2 years I think, and that becomes 4 with the Costco CC, and you can always return it if it breaks.

I personally think I got a price glitch a few days ago. ^.^ 256 shipped!!! 3000psi!!! ryobi!! idk how, but it showed up in my cart, so I ran with it. I couldn't replicate it after oh man. its now 399. I paid 241. (pic below)-- but listen to me, buy these cheap junkers from Costco, because it isn't "will it" fail you, it will eventually fail you, or you will eventually want a better one, at least you can return that sucker one day
again, idk what the hell happened, but when I checked out and saw these stupid numbers, I hit BUY BUY BUY. I tried to do it again for my friend, but price was 379 before tax. and now its 399 before tax. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../317623301

Just yesterday I was watching many pressure washer videos on YouTube and you're right, the consensus was that cheap consumer pressure washers will only have about 90 working hours before they crap out. What I also found out is that the Gallons Per Minute number is much more important than the PSI number. A higher GPM is always better.

very true, but it takes a good while to hit that range, and brushless are better.
its the Axial vs triplex pump that matters, see, I wouldn't of bought the 3000 psi @ 1.1gpm but the price mistake.. it was a steal
this is a genuine electric workhorse, with triplex pump. will last you forever. if I bought the above unit, I would be using it on neighbors driveways etc. make $ back. but the ryobi was cheap enough, that idc. I will keep it and use it for my driveway without concern.
I have a little 40v 1500 psi 1.125 gpm unit, its actually titties for car washes.
90 hours though, that's like 20 years of use for my driveway, as that's all I need it for, and the concrete. really, not a big deal. (especially at my 260 bucks) it does clean, but the gpm doesn't move the dirt away, so it just takes more time.
that said, it is fine for residential use. commercial, it would take you a long time thus losing max profit.
you won't find high high gpm on a electric residential unit yet, not for many years. I have faith in ryobi though, I got a billion tools and none have failed me. im a little ryobi hoe. (I basically rob them) with all the ryobi day deals and returns of batteries. bwahahaha

This is likely still under warranty. Might be worth a call to SunJoe.

that extra crap the sunjoe comes with is junk anyway.
