Cheapest deal I have seen on a 3080 12gb model. Price is actually $809 after mail rebate, but even if you skip out on that $839 makes for a slick deal!
Glad to see more people are speaking about this crap company, it is not the same newegg from 2013, the customer service is complete trash now. I just check out the deals posted on video cards to see the going prices, one day I will upgrade my 9800 gt.
I just have to laugh at all the Newegg hate which wasn't really a thing until a youtube channel kicked it off. Any merchant will have issues, moreso if they have 3rd party sellers. Newegg isn't really any different than Amazon, better than ebay, bit worse than B+H, online unlike most microcenter deals,....etc etc...
Buying into what tech tubers say whole line and sinker is not very intelligent. They get paid to exaggerate, to promote, to deceive (click bait), and they are very very bandwagony.
While I'm not saying everything they say is wrong...far from....just use logic and don't blindly believe media. Use your brain......you have one for a reason.
12 GB at ~ $100 over the 10 GB makes actual sense. Not that $1300 garbage when it first released. I feel bad for anyone who paid those prices when the 12 GB 3080 came out (but not that bad, it's still an obscene amount of cash for a GPU).
That being said, performance wise this card is ~10% shy of the 3080 Ti but only about 3% better than a 10 GB 3080, making it not a worthy upgrade for many for the 2 extra GB of vram. I'd keep waiting for a closer to $700 3080 of it were me..

Personally. I'm with you. I buy loads of stuff from NewEgg. I had a couple of pain free returns. In one case, a delivery went missing; but later a neighbor hand delivered the package. The vendor on NewEgg incorrectly refunded me for the goods - and I had to really insist they take my money from me, again.

I'd agree, it's a really nice price but the newegg i trusted is long since gone.
