considering this game always seems to sell for $20, this is a good deal for a classic rpg (and x2 comes with it)

Is this one any good? I think it tried it once way back when it first released on PS2. I don't remember anything about it.
Also, a hear that not only is this just the physical of X and X2 being digital but that you also HAVE TO have the cartridge in your Switch to even play the DIGITAL X2! Sounds like a lame security feature by Nintendo of America. I was told the Japanese release doesn't require this. Can anyone confirm this?

I believe there is one I think published by Bandai or something that does include both versions on the cart. Used copies go for $80ish last I checked though

No it's not. X2 is not included on the cart. It's digital. Pass.

I mean, if you like Final Fantasy games, it's a fun one. ;P I'm playing through it right now. Personally I enjoy the turn order bar, but that's because I loved FFT (Which I believe is the first FF to include such a thing).

Feels a little "YMMV", as I can't order a copy to be delivered, and it's not in stock near me.

But, while I really only play the main numbered FF games (minus online), $17 just for FFX if you have never played it or want to play it again legally, is a very nice price. It's probably the best entry since FF7.

US cartridges only gives you X-2 as digital. You have to import a Asia cartridge if you want both in the physical cartridge.
