Is this one any good? I think it tried it once way back when it first released on PS2. I don't remember anything about it.
Also, a hear that not only is this just the physical of X and X2 being digital but that you also HAVE TO have the cartridge in your Switch to even play the DIGITAL X2! Sounds like a lame security feature by Nintendo of America. I was told the Japanese release doesn't require this. Can anyone confirm this?
Just a reminder for those interested that X-2 is not a physical copy, but a digital one instead. Which is also something to be aware of if buying used
I believe there is one I think published by Bandai or something that does include both versions on the cart. Used copies go for $80ish last I checked though

X was very good. X2 was a cash grab that ended up being just ok.

I mean, if you like Final Fantasy games, it's a fun one. ;P I'm playing through it right now. Personally I enjoy the turn order bar, but that's because I loved FFT (Which I believe is the first FF to include such a thing).
Feels a little "YMMV", as I can't order a copy to be delivered, and it's not in stock near me.
But, while I really only play the main numbered FF games (minus online), $17 just for FFX if you have never played it or want to play it again legally, is a very nice price. It's probably the best entry since FF7.

Can you get a Target to price match? I've done that with Best Buy so I can use my Red Card and have shipping included

No it's not. X2 is not included on the cart. It's digital. Pass.
