I have a NETGEAR R7800-100NAS Nighthawk X4S Smart WiFi Router which has been serving me for the past 3 years very well with 12 IP cams and 10 computers/phones connected at the same time.
I plan to upgrade our internet to WIFI6. I will place an order of this to test it out. Not sure about TP-Link router these days, especially this model but I had difficulty with drop connections using TP-link in the past years ago before I go only with Netgear and Asus.

Goes on sale at this price pretty regularly
It is pretty much the regular price for it with how often its been going on sale the last two months at Costco, but its actually worth the price tag. You wont find a triband router that will perform better for this price range and it wont even be close. This is a toned down triband though since its AX3200 using only 2x2 setups and no 160Mhz support. Suprisingly it still was able to get a proper client well over 800Mbps within 10 feet of the router and averages well over 600Mbps at a far distance from multiple reviewers test, so as a single router its an extremely great bang for your buck.

Good price but is it a secure router so much confusing information on which routers connect to outside servers?

What do you mean by "connect to outside servers?"
For the above two, this does not use home care or provide any virus protection, so it does not connect to any outside servers like the Mesh Deco products or any products using their homecare/home shield.

I hope TP-link improve their products recently!

Is this stable?
Don't want to deal w a router losing connection constantly be it dropped Wi-Fi or dropped internet
I have a super stable wireless AC router I have to reset MAYBEE once a year
Reviews from multiple reviewers and online all point to this being a very stable and reliable router.

this or ASUS RT-AX86u ?
Going to get similar speeds no matter which you pick. The Asus costs $125 dollars more, so unless you plan on utilizing AiMesh or really want their firmware/antivirus your paying a lot more for a lot less. If your an Asus fanboi stick with them, I also prefer Asus for my home network products but the prices have to be pretty comparable or not too far off or else I go with competitors gear if well reviewed.
