At 50% off listed price, I think it is a slick deal. Especially, when everything seems to be getting more expensive. I tried to get it shipped and shipping cost seems to be showing $1600. Therefore, if you want to get it shipped you are probably out of luck.

If anyone takes his advice and doesn't need the included pump, the pool only is available for $147 from Amazon [amazon.com]
6FT 2 here and it's actually really enjoyable, the kids love it and even for me to float around it's actually really nice, this pump sucks though so get a bigger pump.
Probably deep enough to cool off in on a hot day but you're not exactly doing laps in it.

Is this even deep enough to really enjoy? Serious question.

My advice too. I have this and the pump/filter it comes with isn't good at all. The pump will likely set you back more than this pool though. It was worth it for me though

I've had the 10' prism frame version of this pool for 4 years now. The liner is faded but in good shape otherwise. I've had to replace a few of the frame pieces but they're fairly cheap on the intex site. The #1 thing you'll need to do is replace the filter. The included one is barely enough to circulate the water. I bought the 1000gph intex filter which ended up being garbage. I now have this one and it's strong enough to run the surface skimmer. Also upgraded all of the hoses and fittings to 1.5".

30" is a good depth for small kids and deep enough for me (6'1") to sit and float in. The small size is easy to clean and takes barely any chlorine compared to my old inground pool.

Shipping for me was only $38 so it seems it's different depending on your area.

Sheer size. The 12' is 44% bigger, which is huge in the context of a pool.
