still 7 months before the "expiration date", which is nothing more than a way to trick folks into throwing away good food so they can sell more, it will likely taste the same very very long after that date, but 7 months before it there should be no reason whatsoever for it not to be fresh, barring having been stored improperly, of course. Since it'snot a 3rd party seller, it's very unlikely to have been stored improperly.

I ordered expensive chocolate chips once and they kept coming melted. They kept sending me replacements that came melted. I then put my blocks of chocolate in the food processor and used it as chopped chocolate for recipes.
