I have 32GB of DDR5-5600 saved in my PC parts picker with the cost of $319. So OP found a great deal.
No, a great deal would be for cheap DDR4 kits. 😄
DDR5 will not give any noticable returns over DDR4 for 99% of computing situations for a couple years at least. By then it will be much cheaper. Smart money is put towards a better GPU or monitor instead.

I snagged some Kinston fury DDR5 6000 32gb for 280 (two sticks of 16gb) a few weeks ago. 32gb of quality DDR4 at 3600 was going to be around 150-180. So $100/30% cheaper essentially. If thinking about it, now is time before AM5 drops and DDR5 supply is gone. Software will start taking advantage of the higher bandwidth/speed once both AM5 and Alder Lake are more common. Depending on build intended use and duration, DDR5 could make sense at a 30% premium.

For AM5, AMD's X670 and B650 chipset powered motherboards will be DDR5-Only so that will definitely drive demand if nothing else. Buying now may indeed be the smart thing to do.
Does anyone know if this next gen will utilize RAM speeds above 5200/5600? That's one thing that's confusing me.

Native, e.g without using xmp. Looks like 5200
