i7 12700k - not top of the line but just 1 step below it. Such a better value vs i9.
3080 - I always consider XX70 to be the minimum needed to call it an enthusiast level gaming computer. 3080 is a meaningful step up and $/FPS is still very good. 3080 Ti onwards the value proposition falls of a cliff for 'gaming'
16 GB RAM - speaking purely on gaming terms, it's enough. You won't see the quantity of RAM be a bottleneck. Very few games are sensitive enough to high speed RAM to justify higher spending. So long as the RAM is running at 3200 - 3600 you should be fine
1 TB SSD - Enough for windows + apps + 3/4 of your most played games. If space is really a constraint because of a large game library, buy an additional HDD for the not so often played games. Media can obviously stay in HDD.
Thus, in my opinion this computer makes the right compromises and strikes the right balance to call itself an enthusiast level gaming computer
This looks like the deal I've been waiting for. 12th gen intel + 3080. But think I'm going to wait on a few more comments from people smarter than me first before jumping.

Anyone with feedback on the case air flow / cooling ?

Some people prefer the radiator at the top, and some at the front. This build is at the front. Personally, I would rather have fresh cool air cooling my CPU. Some people don't like this, because now the air is already warm when entering the case. Personally, I like how the bottom, front fan will bring in fresh cool air, right across the GPU. All this warm air is then removed out the back and top.
Maybe upgrade the warranty to cover shipping? $20 will easily pay for shipping, should you ever need it over 3 years.

Edit:
Assuming pictures are accurate, the motherboard is the ASUS Prime Z690-P D4.

edit: Generally I've noticed people seem to report more positive experiences when buying directly from suppliers like iBuyPower and cyberpowerpc than through a third party like Newegg/Amazon etc
I was in the same dilemma waiting for the new rtx 40 series and possibly the next gen intels. But to be honest how long are you gonna wait? Wait til the 4s come out and people will be telling you to wait for the NEXT gen.
Just depends on what you're missing out on. The opportunity cost of waiting is real if you're on your CPU gaming all the time. Plus an expected paper launch in q-3/4 and most people can't realistically expect to get a 4 series until next year.
Don't get me wrong, I have 2 of their systems, one about 3 yrs old the other 2 and have had zero problems.
