Highly recommend Mae Ploy instead. Drastically less expensive and better flavor

Don't know about quality, but it's not less expensive:

The Mae Ploy is 14 oz tub. Price per Oz the Mae Ploy would've cheaper than this.

My calculation says
thai kitchen $2.29/4oz= 57 cents
Mae ploy $7.25/14oz= 52 cents
My comment was in reply to a post that said it was drastically cheaper. If you wanna call a 5 cent difference per ounce substantial, then you're right. I would argue that having a smaller container would be desirable for several reasons, including not having the food go bad before it's finished, so it may end up being less expensive.

I pay $4.99 for the 2.2-lb tub at my local Asian market. I've seen it on Amazon before at much lower prices than it's currently going for.

Mae Ploy is wayyy cheaper than that at most Asian markets and it's usually cheaper than that on Amazon too. I pay $4.99 for a 2.2-lb tub of red/green curry paste at a local market. It takes a pretty long time to go bad, in my experience.
